Flower arrangement in Japan
is called "Ikebana", and it is also known as kado,
which is a Japanese style of floral design, noted for its simplicity and
purity of lines and colors. |
In contrast to the decorative
form of flower arrangement in western countries, "Ikebana" creates
a harmony of linear construction, rhythm and color; it is a kind of art arranged by flowers,
stems, leaves, branches, as well as vase or container. The entire
structure of "Ikebana" is based on three main points that
symbolize heaven, earth and man. |
There is a weekly flower
arrangement class in the company. Most of female staffs enjoy the class on
Wednesday evening. After the class, the arrangements are displayed in the
participants' own working sections. |
Thanks to the beautiful flowers,
the working places are more cheerful and comfortable. |
