Jun. 1908 Founded by Juhachi Nakayama in Takeo city, producing gas engines, barley pearling mills, and air compressors
May. 1942 Manufactured bake crushers as commanded by the army
Nov. 1951 Upon Junhachi Nakayama's death ( the president and founder), Yasuhiro Nakayama succeeded to the presidency of the company
Mar. 1954 Began manufacturing single toggle crushers
Jun. 1962 Moved the head office and plant to the present address
Mar. 1964 Incorporated as Nakayama Iron Works, Ltd. with the capital of 15,000,000
Nov. 1965 Entered into a technological agreement on crushers with Nihon Cement Co., Ltd., Kawara Steel Works (now: Taiheiyo Engineering Corporation)
Jan. 1968 Opened Tokyo branch
Jul. 1969 Built No.2 plant (assembling factory)
May. 1970 Began manufacturing crushing plants for export
Jul. 1971 Joined the Japan Industrial Machinery Association
Nov. 1971 Was appointed by Ministry of Finance as a superior corporation in filling and payment of corporate tax
Mar. 1973 Was approved by the Minister of Construction for the construction work in installing equipment
Apr. 1974 Expanded No.2 plant and built a welfare hall for the workers
Jan. 1980 Was awarded a prize by Japan Association of Medium and Small Business Center
Apr. 1981 Increased the capital up to 36,000,000
May. 1984 Developed giant jaw crusher for quarry face
Apr. 1987 Bought patent for Simbagrid from Simibasan Intercom Ltd., U.K. Began manufacturing Simbagrid (mobile grizzly)
Dec. 1987 Developed new vertical shaft impactor (Gyropactor) for crushing and improvement of aggregate shape.
Apr. 1989 Increased the capital up to 54,000,000
Dec. 1989 Increased the capital up to 86,500.000. Osaka Small Business Investment Co., Ltd. invested and joined Nakayama as a share holder
Mar. 1990 Opened Osaka branch
Jan. 1991 Completed new head office building
Feb. 1993 Expanded No.1 plant (machining factory)
Oct. 1993 Began manufacturing crawler-mounted crushers
Feb. 1996 Completed training center
May. 1996 Hiroshi Nakayama succeeded to the presidency of the company
Jun. 1996 Opened Nagoya office
May. 1997 Opened Singapore representative office
May. 1997 Opened N.C.S.S. (Nakayama Crushing Service Singapore Pte Ltd.)
Feb. 1998 Began manufacturing soil remediation equipment
May. 1998 Began manufacturing power roll crusher
Jun. 1999 Entered into a technological agreement  with IHC of Holland ( cancelled in July, 2004)
Apr. 2000 Became an ISO9001 certificated company
Apr. 2003 Opened Hiroshima office
Apr. 2003 Opened Sendai office
Jun. 2005 Opened Shanghai representative office
May 2008 Opened Tokyo maintenance center
