B2. Experience of a
plant installation in Algeria @
|
K. D. (Overseas
sales section), Dec. 2008
|
|
In the year of 2008, a few plants and machineries,
including one set of 400-ton crushing plant, three
crawler-mounted crushers NC420GXC, three
crawler-mounted crushers NC360GXC and two sets of
screens and conveyers, were exported to Algeria. For
the installation and the trial operation, we, four
technical staffs from NAKAYAMA, went to Algeria.
|
The job was not easy at all. We met a lot of
difficulties. For instance, the lack of driver and
car for delivering machines and for commute from
worksite to hotel. With the help from COJAAL (Consortium Japonais Pour'l Autoroute Algeriennej,
we rented a car and hired a local driver, then we could start
out jobs at last. Although
there were some unexpected things happened later on-- the car was stolen and
the happening made the driver be in
panic, etc., we eventually completed the job very
well. By the way, the communication between us and
local staffs was going well, though, our English
skills were a bit poor, we
could only use a smattering of English simple words and
sentences.
|
In spite of the difficulties, there were lots
of fun as well: the large-scale natural scenery, the
delicious local
foods, the interesting chats with the driver and the
talks about his marriage, and so on.
|
The trip is over, but the days we experienced were
very unforgettable. We hope the report will give you a
whole picture about the trip, and will help you
understand NAKAYAMA better.
