are underway in our company. With these computerized
systems, we established a reliable network for our
overall production from the input of a variety of
customers' demands to their output in viable forms of
products, thereby maximizing designing and production
efficiency. |

factory environment where our staffs' creativity is

1. Intranet
System
|

| In
our company, there
are two types of main systems, the LAN
(Local Area Network) and the WAN (Wide
Area
Network) , which tie the headquarter,
the factory and all domestic branches together. With
the systems, all staffs are able to make full use of information resources including product
documents, drawings and so on. |
| The LAN, that is to say, the basic intranet
system includes a Cost Calculation
System, a
Parts Management System, a Production Planning
System and an Ordering System, a Sales Management System, etc. They are playing different important roles in
different processes of production,
management, sales and after-service. In addition to
it, there
are a Document Management System (Lotus Notes System) and
a Web System in our company. |

2. Online TV
Meeting System
|
|
|
| We aim to making a full use of the latest IT technology all
the time. As an example, we built an
online TV meeting system by the
internet. |
| With the TV
meeting system, the headquarter
and all branches and offices in Tokyo,
Osaka, Nagoya, Sendai and Hiroshima are
able to join an online meeting at the same
time. The system lets all
participants see each other like in a
face-to-face meeting, it makes the meeting
more effective and it helps reduce cost
including business trip expense etc. |
| Moreover,
when our customers visit our branches,
headquarter staffs are able to work
together with branch staffs, get a good
communication with the customers from
headquarter, though, the headquarter is
about 1000km far from the branches!. |

3. Information
System
|

The server room: the "heart" of the
information system is working day and
night.

With the LAN system, all resources can be shared by all staffs. It is one of
the key ways to work more efficiently.
